Catholic Life of the School
The Catholic Life of the School:
At Hubert’s, the Catholic life of our school is the vibrant heartbeat that enriches every facet of our educational community. Rooted in the deep traditions and teachings of the Catholic Church, we are a place where faith, values, and spirituality are lived and celebrated daily.
Our commitment to fostering a rich Catholic ethos is reflected in everything we do—through our curriculum, our worship, and the relationships we cultivate within the school. We strive to create an environment where every student, staff member, and visitor feels a strong sense of belonging and inclusion, grounded in our shared faith.
Our Catholic life is shaped by:
Worship and Prayer: Daily worship, prayer, and moments of reflection are central to our school life, providing both students and staff with opportunities to deepen their relationship with God and nurture their faith.
Christian Values: Love, compassion, forgiveness, and social justice are at the heart of our community. We encourage these Gospel values to be lived out within our school and in the wider world.
Education with Purpose: Our academic curriculum is woven with Catholic teachings, offering not only a strong foundation of knowledge but also guiding our pupils’ spiritual growth and moral development.
Service and Outreach: Acts of service are integral to our expression of faith. From within the school community to outreach beyond our walls, we are committed to living our faith through action and service to others.
Inclusivity and Respect: We foster a culture of inclusivity and respect, warmly welcoming pupils and families from all backgrounds, while honouring the diversity of beliefs and experiences that enrich our community.
Partnership with Parents and Parish: We recognise the essential role of parents and our local parish in nurturing the spiritual life of our pupils. Together, we build a supportive and faith-filled environment for our children to thrive.
Our Catholic life is not confined to religious education or specific times in the school day—it is the foundation of our school’s identity, shaping the way we teach, learn, and live. It is our hope that every pupil who enters our doors leaves with a strong faith, a commitment to virtuous living, and a deep sense of purpose that extends beyond the classroom.
We warmly invite prospective parents who share these values to contact us for more information about our school. Through dialogue, collaboration, and shared faith, we can work together to nurture your child’s potential within our Catholic school family. Your journey with us begins here, and we look forward to welcoming you into our community. Please feel free to reach out—we are excited to share the rich experience of faith and education that awaits at Hubert’s.
